Terms

These terms cover orders placed on this website with Palm & Yam LLC, 101 Main Street, Viking, MN 56760.

Ordering and pickup

• Every order on this site is for collection at 101 Main Street. We do not ship.
• An order is confirmed once payment completes on Shopify’s checkout and you receive the confirmation email.
• We hold paid orders for three days. Fresh and frozen items in an uncollected order may not survive that, and we cannot hold them longer.
• Kitchen trays and bakery items are made to order. Lead times are shown on the product page and on how pickup works.

Prices, stock and substitutions

• Prices are in US dollars and are set in our Shopify catalogue.
• Tax is calculated at checkout.
• We pick from real shelves. If something sells out between your order and your pickup we call you and refund that line. We do not substitute without asking.
• Weights on meat, fish and produce are approximate. Where an item is sold by weight the price shown is for the pack described.

Refunds

• Tell us at the counter or call the same day if something is wrong and we will put it right.
• Fresh, frozen, cooked and bakery items cannot be returned once they leave the shop, for food safety reasons.
• Unopened shelf-stable goods can be returned within seven days with the receipt.
• Refunds are issued through Shopify to the original payment method.

Food information

Our kitchen handles peanuts, shellfish, fish, gluten and dairy in one space, so we cannot promise any item is free of them. Ask us before you order if an allergy is serious.

Some items on the market shelf are cosmetic or herbal products sold as stocked. We make no medical claim about any of them and nothing on this site is health advice.

Using this site

• Do not attempt to break, scrape at scale, or overload the site.
• Product photography and copy on this site belong to Palm & Yam LLC.
• The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable.

Payments

Payment is taken by Shopify on their hosted checkout. Their terms apply to that step. This website does not collect or store card details at any point.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
